General Entry Criteria
Entry into an undergraduate program at the Blue Mountains Hotel School is based upon academic performance, interview and proficiency in the English language.
Diploma
Students on entry typically would have satisfactorily completed 12 years of schooling and hold the Higher School Certificate, International Baccalaureate or GCE A levels equivalent. Students are required to turn 18 years of age within the first ten weeks of commencement.
Direct Entry
Where a transfer of credit is sought, the credit will be "mapped" against the course structure and content to ensure comparability. Where application is made under the AQTF, the principles of mutual recognition of awards will apply.
Non-standard or mature age entry
Non-standard or mature age entry:Non-standard entry for mature or experienced practitioners will be by individual application and personal assessment to recognise prior experiential learning. All candidates will undertake a personal interviewr.
International Students
For international students the minimum level of English language competency is IELTS of 6.0 (General) or 5.5 (Academic) as evidenced by a valid IELTS certificate or equivalent.
