Completion of Sec 4 (Express)/GCE 'O' levels or equivalent
Diploma
2 passes in the GCE 'A' levels
Postgraduate Qualifying Programmes (PQP)
English Requirements:
An IELTS of 5.5 or TOEFL of 525 (195 computer based) (or equivalent) is required for entry into the Postgraduate Qualifying Programme. Students with IELTS of 5.0, or equivalent, will be required to complete an English preparation course prior to commencing at PIBT, or undertake additional English as a Second Language unit when first enrolled in PIBT.
PQP Standard
Business - Approved three year degree or an approved 2 year degree with at least five years of relevant work experience. Entry to the MBA with a 3 year degree requires at least two years relevant work experience.
Computing & Information Technology - Approved three-year degree.
In-depth understanding of computing principles is required (through undergraduate study, computer training in a programming language or similar or work experience)
Master of Computer Science programme requires a background in Computer Science.
Students with an approved Commerce degree entering this stream will only able to articulate into the Master of Internet Computing degree
Communication - Approved four-year diploma or three-year degree.
PQP Extended
Business - Approved 3 - 4 year Diploma (includes Higher National Diploma).
Students who have completed an approved 2-3 year degree (with some relevant work experience) may also be admitted. Entry to the MBA requires at least two years relevant work experience.
Computing & Information Technology - Approved 3 - 4 year Diploma. Students with an approved Commerce diploma entering the Computing and Information Technology stream will only be able to articulate into the Master of Internet Computing degree
Communication - An approved 3 - 4 year Diploma
