English for University Purposes (EUP)
An English language qualification at an appropriate
level is essential: IELTS 5.5,
TOEFL 500
Undergraduate Programmes
Normally two General Certificate of Education (GCE) "A" level examinations,
or equivalent, at the grade "C" level or above are required for admission to
any program. However, an application who has completed one year of study beyond
GCE "O" level will be considered on an individual basis. Credit for appropriate
"A" level courses may be given if completed with grades A, B, or C.
Graduate Programmes
The minimum university admission requirement is an Honours
degree or its equivalent in the subject to be studied
(i.e. a four-year bachelors degree from an approved university).
Candidates possessing a major in a field other than that of their
graduate program will be required to take sufficient undergraduate.
courses to make up the equivalent of an Acadia undergraduate
major in the field of graduate work.
