English Language Requirements

The language of instruction at FIC is English. You must demonstrate a suitable level of English language proficiency before being admitted into a program. This can be done by obtaining one of the results shown below.

If you do not meet the English language requirements, you will be offered the Mixed Program or directed to a recognized ESL provider.

• A minimum IELTS score of 5.0


• TOEFL score (Computer / Paper / IBT) of 172 / 500 / 60 196 / 525 / 69)


• GCE O Levels C


• High School or Equivalent of C+

Mathematics Requirement

Year 12 Mathematics at an acceptable level is required for UTP Stage II Business Administration and Computing Science streams. UTP Stage II students who do not meet this requirement will be required to do the UTP Stage I Statistics course in the first semester of enrollment.

Mature age entry

Mature age students (21 years of age and over) may be admitted into a program without meeting the formal academic requirements if you have relevant work experience and/or other acceptable qualifications.
