General Entry Requirements

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, students have to have one of the following:

• GCE A Levels
• A recognised foundation qualification
• International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points

To be considered for direct entry into Year 2 or Year 3 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, students need to have one of the following:

• Polytechnic Advanced Diploma in a relevant subject
• Polytechnic Diploma holders may be considered

Students who have GCE O Level passes or equivalent qualifications can be considered for the University foundation courses, which guarantee entry to Year 1 of an Anglia Ruskin undergraduate Bachelors degree upon successful completion.

English Language Requirements

The English language requirement for study at postgraduate research level is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, unless a higher IELTS score is required for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in that subject area.
