General Entry Requirements

Foundation Courses

Students must have obtained good grades in their Singapore Cambridge O-level.

Undergraduate Courses

Students with good grades in their Singapore Cambridge A-levels.

Holders of Polytechnic diplomas with B average or more will be considered for entry to year 2 in relevant degree programmes.

Postgraduate Courses

Holders of a Bachelor degree from a recognised Singaporean / UK institution.

English Language Requirements

Students whose native language is not English will normally require:

• An overall score of IELTS 6.0 with no individual score lower than 5.5


• or TOEFL 560 with a TWE (written score) of 4

Some undergraduate and postgraduate programmes may require higher scores.

Students who have undertaken 2 years of education entirely through the medium of English directly prior to entry to Bangor University, will not be required to submit an English Language test certificate.

Students who have passed their Singapore Cambridge O-level in English require no further qualification.
