London FoundatiONCampus Partners in UK

The London FoundationCampus offers an aspirational and maturing environment for international students and aims to challenge you into developing the personal attributes demanded by internationally renonwed research-led University of London colleges. There are five University of London partners currently in the UK. Located at Birkbeck, UOL, it is surrounded by its UOL College partners. London FoundationCampus is part of Cambridge Education Group, and builds on its experience and expertise which has been preparing students for UK's top universities since 1952.

Birkbeck, University of London

Birkbeck is a world-class research ad teaching institution, a vibrant centre of academic excellence and London's only specialist provider of evening higher education. Most teaching takes place in the evening, freeing up time for private study or part-time work experience. Students also experience a unique learning experience as students study alongside people who are working in the business or industry of the subject area.

Situated at the heart of the University of London's central campus, surrounded by other Colleges such as University College London (UCL), the School of Oriental Studies (SOAS) and the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Research in 11 suject areas at Birkbeck is rated as 'internationally excellent' and 'world-leading'. In the RAE 2008, Birkbeck ranked in the top 25% of UK multi-faculty institutions.

Goldsmiths, University of London

Goldsmiths is internationally known for creativity and innovation - a reputation backed by the highest academic standards, and over a century of membership of the University of London. It has an impressive reputation for unconventional, interdisciplinary and challenging approaches to all its subjects, with particular strengths in the creative and cultural dimensions of the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Just 15 minutes by train from the centre of London, Goldsmiths is the perfect location to live, study and explore all that the capital has to offer. Goldsmiths has an international and cosmopolitan atmosphere, welcoming students from over 120 countries.

Goldsmiths’ teaching and administration, and most of its residential accommodation, is located on a single campus. There are over 1,000 places in Goldsmiths' accommodation within walking distance of the campus, with most less than five minutes away.

     

Institute of Education, University of London

The Institute of Education (IOE) is one of the world’s leading graduate schools of education and the social sciences. An international hub for new ideas and debate in these fields, the IOE is officially ranked as the No.1 university in the UK for education research. It also offers UK's widest range of Master's and Doctoral degrees in education.

The College offers a central London location that's easy to get to. The campus is in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum, and provides a diverse academic community, with students from many countries and many professional backgrounds. There is a lively events diary, with more than 300 entries a year, which offers students the chance to hear high-profile speakers from around the world. Students will experience a distinguished tradition of teaching and research, combined with a commitment to social justice.

Queen Mary, University of London

Queen Mary, as a member of the prestigious '1994 Group' of universities, fosters world-class research as well as excellence in education. Queen Mary is also one of the largest colleges of the University of London and one of the few in London with a fully integrated teaching, research and residential campus.

With four campuses spread across East and Central London between the city and the Docklands, Queen Mary enables students to sample the very best that modern, multicultural London has to offer. The College's location in the East of London is ideal for students who have an interest in art, music, fashion, food, sport and culture and its proximity to central London means life as a Queen Mary student will never be boring as students really get the best of both worlds. It also has an award winning accommodation on London’s only fully integrated campus.

Royal Holloway, University of London

Royal Holloway is widely recognised on the world stage as one of the UK’s leading teaching and research university institutions. One of the larger colleges of the University of London, they are strong across the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. Royal Holloway was ranked in the top 10 in the Times, Guardian and Independent league tables (2011) - one of the top performing Psychology departments in the UK. Also, Joint 3rd in the UK (RAE 2008) for Biological Sciences and recognised as a centre of international excellence in research.

Surrounded by Surrey’s beautiful countryside, Royal Holloway’s 135 acre campus is home to an impressive range of modern academic and social facilities. The college campus is situated within the beautiful, peaceful area of rural Surrey, whilst still being only 40 minutes by train from the centre of London, one of the most exciting cities in the world.
