Coventry is an evolving and innovative university with a growing reputation for excellence in education. Three words set the University apart - employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship. Coventry University was 'Highly Commended' in the Entrepreneurial University of the Year category at the Times Higher Awards 2008. Coventry's aim is to keep on improving. They're investing heavily in developing our state-of-the-art facilities with $160m earmarked for improvements over the next ten years.
The University occupies a purpose-built 33-acre campus in the heart of Coventry city centre. The campus buildings and environment are constantly being developed and enhanced Computer Science, Electronic engineering, Finance and Accounting, economics, Agriculture and Forestry, Psychology, Chemistry, Marine Sciences, Sports Science and law.
There are more than 2,400 student PCs on site and the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The campus Google map shows the locations of each University building.
The distinctive turreted building on campus is our $16m Library, which has over 1,200 study areas, 450 computer workstations and a wealth of learning materials and information services.
The teaching and conference rooms are fully-equipped with modern presentation facilities and they also have private study rooms and office space available. When you're not working, the bar, games room, members' lounge and enclosed summer garden provide an ideal environment to mix with colleagues and friends. An exciting development for both the University and for the City has been the creation of the 20-acre Coventry University Technology Park.
