Pre-university Courses

HIBT offers Advanced Certificate courses, which serve as a foundation programme for university studies in a supportive and appropriate environment. HIBT believes that this gives students the best possible introduction to higher education, as they have the advantage of studying in a university setting with university resources and lecturers.

• Advanced Certificate In Business
  Course Duration - Two semesters.

  Course Duration - Two semesters.
  
  
• Advanced Certificate (Mixed)
  Course Duration - Three Semesters.

These courses are designed specifically for students whose English language proficiency is below that required to undertake a full academic load. This course includes a twelve week English language programme.

University Courses

MIBT offers Diplomas (first year university equivalent) as an alternative pathway to university. The diplomas comprise first year degree modules and graduates are therefore guaranteed entry to second year at the University of Hertfordshire.

Pathway requirements

Progression to the University of Hertfordshire is guaranteed for candidates who successfully obtain the Diploma by passing all 8 modules, 5 at the first attempt and the remaining 3 after no more than one further attempt.
