Foundation Programme
The Programme is designed to help students improve
their levels of English and to facilitate the transition
from high school overseas to university in the UK.

English Studies
Students will be asked to take
an English test when they arrive at Middlesex
to help the language staff advise them about English
tuition during the academic year. Free tuition is provided
across the university by specialist English Learning
Support teams which offer individual tutorials and weekly
workshops focusing on written and oral communication
skills.
In addition, Middlesex runs a pre-sessional programme
in English and Academic Skills from mid-July through
mid- September to help students achieve the levels required
for entry to the university in September.
Summer School
Middlesex University's Summer School programme offers
a stunning variety of courses within an academic, social
and cultural framework, giving students from overseas
a unique opportunity to experience British higher education.
The five-week programme begins in July and ends in August
- and student can study a wide range of courses from
Biological Sciences to Performing Arts.

Programmes
This flexible academic programmes are designed to equip
students with knowledge, skills and confidence for life
in the 21st century. Courses can be combined to suit individual
needs and can be complemented by work placement experience
and the chance to study overseas.

Postgraduate Programmes
Students have the option to pursue their education
on a part-time or full-time
basis.
Postgraduate study can take one of three forms:
- Taught programmes:
masters degrees, postgraduate certificates or postgraduate
diplomas
- Research degrees -
also sometimes supported by a taught programme: BPhil,
MPhil, PhD and EngD qualifications
- Work Based Learning Professional
Studies - MProf and DProf: 'applied' alternative
study routes to conventional research degrees.
