General Entry Requirements

All Study Abroad applicants must be currently studying at an overseas (non EU) university or college of Higher Education.

Academic Requirements

The minimum academic requirement is a GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent) for entry onto the Arts and Social Sciences, Business and Finance or Science, Engineering and Agriculture Study Abroad programmes.

The minimum academic requirement is a GPA of at least 3.5 (or equivalent) for entry onto the Pre-Med Study Abroad programme.

English Language Requirements

Students whose native language is not English will normally require:

  • A minimum IELTS score of 6.5

  • Or A TOEFL score of 575 (233 in the computer based TOEFL).

In order to participate on the; Arts and Social Sciences, Business and Finance, Science, Engineering and Agriculture or Pre-med Study Abroad programmes.

Other English language qualifications will be considered. For example, students from Norway can submit English language test scores from the Norwegian High School if a 4.0 or higher on the 6 point scale has been achieved.

Students whose native language is not English and do not have an IELTS test score of 6.5 or equivalent are advised to opt for the International Study Abroad with English programme.
