The University of West London is a public university with over 150 years experience in technical and vocational education.
In 2008, the University of West London embarked on an ambitious new strategic direction, the first phase of which is complete. The aim was to locate the University in its traditional heartland of west London, become more employer focused and improve its reputation.
The University of West London now has one main West London campus, with two sites at St. Mary's Road in Ealing and Paragon House in Brentford. There will also be a University 'Hub' in Berkshire which will be the location for health-based courses.
The University of West London also has two specialist schools, namely the London School of Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure and the London College of Music and Media. The London School of Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure is one of the largest specialist centres for tourism, hospitality and leisure education in Europe while the London College of Music and Media is the largest specialist music and performing arts institution in the United Kingdom.
