INTO Entry Requirement

• Foundation
  • Completion of GCE O levels or equivalent
  • 17 years or above
  • IELTS 4.5 or equivalent three terms / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent two terms / IELTS 5.5 or equivalent one term
  • For students without a formal IELTS test it is possible to take an INTO English language test
• Diploma (Equivalent to Year 1)
  • A levels or equivalent
  • 17.5 years or above
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
• Pre-Masters
  • A good undergraduate degree from a recognised university
  • 21 years or above
  • Two Term Course : IELTS 4.5 or equivalent / One Term Course : IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

UEA Undergraduate Entry Requirement

• Five GCE/GCSE passes, including two GCE A-levels, or an Advanced VCE Double Award
• An EDEXCEL/BTEC National or Higher National Certificate or Diploma with merit grades in at least three second- or third-year modules
• A pass in the International or European Baccalaureate Diploma
• Four passes in the SCE higher grade examinations
• IELTS : Overall score of 6.0

Postgraduate Entry Requirement

Candidates for graduate study are normally expected to have a British honours degree or equivalent. More precise requirements - and any particular conditions for entry - may be specified for certain courses. International candidates are also required to provide evidence of a good command of English if it is not their first language.

IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 plus the following band scores: 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
