General Entry Requirements
Undergraduate Courses
- Passes in two six-unit General Certificate of Education Advanced Level
(GCE A) or two six-unit Vocational Certification of Education Advanced Level
(VCE A), supported by three GCSEs at grade C or above and/or a combination
of GCE Advanced Subsidiary;
- A relevant foundation course;
- National Certificates or National Diplomas of a good standard;
- International or European Baccalaureate;
- Mature Students: We welcome your application if you are over 21 and do
not have the usual minimum entry qualifications. You
will, of course, have to satisfy us that you have the knowledge and motivation
to enable you to succeed on the course you are interested in.
Graduate Courses
To apply for taught postgraduate schemes, you will need:
- an Honours Degree
- a Postgraduate diploma in a relevant subject
- a recognised equivalent professional qualification.
If you have alternative qualifications or relevant experience which shows
that you have appropriate knowledge and skills, you may be accepted.
The entry requirements vary from course to course – make sure you check the
individual requirements for the specific course you want to study.
English Language Requirements
International students whose first language is not English shall normally
be required to demonstrate evidence of satisfactory competence by achieving
IELTS 6.0 for undergraduate courses and 6.5 for postgraduate courses.
Most academic departments will ask for IELTS 6.0 but there are exceptions
and the applicant should check with the individual department. |
