Introduction
The University of Bridgeport, located in the State of
Connecticut, U.S.A., is a private, non-sectarian, comprehensive
university, offering a wide variety of undergraduate,
graduate and professional degree programs through its
several colleges and schools.
Mission and Objective
The University’s mission is to teach and search
for new knowledge and new solutions to the problems
of its social and natural environments. To this end,
it offers high-quality accredited scientific, technical,
business, legal, professional, and liberal arts programs;
as well as lifelong learning opportunities. Its objective
is to educate men and women of personal integrity and
social conscience, who have the knowledge necessary

Services
and Activities
The University of Bridgeport offers its students a wide
range of social activities to choose from each week.
Events and activities such as classical music concerts,
rock and roll concerts, dances, movies, workshops, seminars
and casual gatherings are offered to all students, often
at no cost or for a nominal fee. The University also
provides basic health care through its own Health Center.
Career Resource Center and Counseling Center assist
students towards their academic objectives by encouraging
self direction and by promoting personal development
and wellness.
